The charities are: Age UK Knaresborough & District; BeyondMe; Bridgend County Borough Citizens Advice Bureau; Cambridgeshire Deaf Association; Canaan Project; Carmarthen Youth Project; Community Action Norfolk; Community in Partnership Knowle West; Derbyshire LGBT+; First Give; HEART UK - The Cholesterol Charity; Home-Start Dover District; IMARA; New Note Projects; Newport Credit Union Ltd; Peer Power Youth; Salford Lads' and Girls' Club; Sandwell African Caribbean Mental Health Foundation; The Climate Coalition; The FDF Centre for Independent Living; The Life Centre Bierley Community Association Ltd; The Rape & Sexual Abuse Counselling Centre (Darlington and County Durham) CIO; The Wiener Library; TLC: Talk, Listen, Change; Trust Links Ltd; Well Women Centre; Women's Work Derbyshire Ltd; Young Citizens; YoungMinds.
The programme is focusing on using innovative, free and low-cost advertising and recruitment methods to widen the pool of people currently serving as trustees. We will subsequently produce free guidance for any charity on how to recruit trustees effectively and cheaply.
