Alex Buckmire is the Research & Development Director at Voluntary Action Harrow Co-operative where his primary areas of focus are advising and developing local voluntary and community groups.
His expertise includes co-operative facilitation, social enterprise development, trusteeship and governance, marketing and communication strategies, social campaigning and research, monitoring, evaluation and social impact.
A qualified trainer and certified social enterprise capacity builder, Alex has managed a variety of projects including equality services, a micro-volunteering service, a youth enterprise hub, as well as a web and graphic design service.
He has a degree in Finance, Accounting and Management, and has worked in the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector for the last 16 years, working with small, regional, national and international organisations.
