Fiona is a freelance strategy and comms consultant and holds a variety of roles in the private, public and third sector.
She has a background in journalism and has been a section editor at Time Out magazine, written guide books for Rough Guides and written for consumer press and publications including The Telegraph Group, The Guardian and as well as numerous magazines and periodicals.
She has also worked in secondary education within a literacy and career advisory role and is an advocate for raising young people’s aspirations and attainment through fostering a love of reading, and exposure to positive life experiences.
Fiona is a trustee for the Literacy Pirates and chair of an east London community organisation.
