JANNINE POLETTI-HUGHES

Dr. Jannine Poletti-Hughes is an Associate Professor at the University of Liverpool Management School. She worked as a Financial Analyst at the National Banking and Securities Commission in Mexico before joining the academic sector having obtained a PhD in Corporate Finance from the University of York in the United Kingdom. 

 

Her research on corporate governance has received multiple awards from the Mexican Institute of Finance Executives (IMEF) and Ernst & Young (IMEF-EY), as well as the Adalberto Viesca Sada Prize from the University of Monterrey, Mexico.

 

She presently serves as an executive member of the Business Association of Latin American Studies and holds the position of treasurer at the Society of Latin American Studies (SLAS). Additionally, Jannine has contributed her expertise as a member of the creative advisory committee for Fideres, a multinational corporation, and has acted as an advisor to both the Mexican Business Council and parliamentarians, emphasising the significance of gender diversity within private company boards of directors.
