Martha is Head of Green Economy and Sustainable Growth at the UCL Institute of Innovation and Public Purpose, leading the Institute's work on policy and research in the green development field.


She has a background in green finance and energy, completing her Master's in International Energy at Sciences Po in Paris, and focusing on renewables whilst working for climate metrics think-tank 2 Degrees Investing Initiative.  


Previously, as Director of Communications and Marketing at educational access charity The Brilliant Club, she helped build up the organisation’s external relations department, and she has also spent time in consulting, at strategic brand consultancy The Value Engineers.


In her spare time Martha helps run Eyedea, a network for young female professionals in London.
