Getting on Board has been working with 30 charities over the last few weeks to help them recruit new trustees as part of Trustee Recruitment Pathways which is supported by Comic Relief, Anjoli Stewart and the Pears Foundation.
We are now delighted to go live for Volunteers Week 2018 with trustee vacancies across England and Wales, in a variety of charitiable organisations undertaking the most incredible work. The charities need different skills and experiences including:
* Business strategy, change management or entrepreneurship
* PR and marketing
* Digital
* Legal
* Finance
* Fundraising, of all sorts, and including contracts and tenders
* HR
* Premises
* Health and social care
* Personal experience of the charity's cause
* And a range of specific needs listed in the vacancy list
All of the charities actively want to increase the diversity of their boards because they believe that diversity of thought enriches their governance, so if you have one of the skills listed and are from any of the groups under-represented on charity boards nationally (female, under 50s, disabled, from a BAME community or any other minority) we particularly want to hear from you.
Trustees lead charities and trusteeship is an incredible personal and professional development opportunity, as well as a chance to support a charity to thrive.
