Through her personal and work experiences, Daisy has developed a passion for supporting others to find, develop and amplify their voices. She currently works for the British Youth Council and the MS Society, supporting young people and people affected by multiple sclerosis to campaign on the issues that affect them. She also takes on freelance work to support organisations to develop how they work collaboratively with young people. Daisy's experience in governance started as Chair of University of Derby Students' Union and a Governor of the University of Derby at the age of 22. In 2016, she become a Trustee of Derby Museums Trust and a Strategic Advisor to YMCA Derbyshire. Daisy has regularly been the youngest voice around the table, which has taught her a lot about being an effective Trustee and the importance of diversity at a governance level.
