Jenny is a senior voluntary sector professional with extensive experience of committees and trustees.  She was a trustee of the Association of Charity Officers.

She worked at Friends of the Elderly, a national charity, for 16 years.  She began there managing the grants the charity disburses and went on to develop their community services which included day care and support in the home for older people.  In 2010 she became Operations Director and was responsible for the charity’s 13 care homes, 10 community services plus the grant giving.

Previously Jenny had worked at her local Age Concern, The Bedford Institute Association – a Quaker organisation, Barnado’s and The Prudential.

Her experience in recruiting staff led Jenny to want to help people with the recruitment process – from job search to c.v. writing and interview techniques.  This has led to very successful outcomes.

Jenny loves giving presentations and is passionate about person centred care particularly for people with who have dementia which is a specialism of hers.
